Meet Valerie Valine

Valerie Greyer Bullock is the proud owner of Valerie Valine Pretty Things, LLC. The name Valerie Valine comes from her first and middle name given at birth, and Pretty Things describes Valerie's focus as she sources for items for herself and others.
Initially introduced to the thrifting and resell world by her parents, she remembers it was around the age of 8, when they took her and her younger brother to “go selling” on Saturdays. Her parents would collect items around the house and spend the day at the local flea market hoping to make sales. This was an all-day event that involved packing snacks, naps in the car and walking around the market with her mother making purchases as well. This introduction solidified for Valerie there was to be no shame or stigma associated with thrifting. In fact, the clear message was, sustainable living was something to take pride in. Fast forward to 2009 where she met and fell in love with her husband, Darrell, “Mr. Logistics”, and it was her mother-in-law who triggered her long lost passion by asking Valerie to accompany her to Goodwill. Together they would spend hours shopping and creating stylish looks, especially for weekend outings and church on Sundays.
After many years of thrifting for herself and collecting massive amounts of Pretty Things, Valerie decided to share the wealth by trying her hand at resale, and Valerie Valine Pretty Things was born. Starting on Poshmark and Tradesy, Valerie now hosts Facebook LIVE Sales. Following great success, Valerie invested further into herself and her business by taking the Master Class and Level Up Academy trainings from Keren Duclosel, Owner Thrifting Atlanta, Ayana Pittersen, Owner Thrifting Divas and Stephanie Hill, Owner Hills, Heels, Hooray respectively. At the culmination of the 3-month Level Up Academy Bootcamp, Valerie was named Best LIVE Seller among all the students in the Academy, and the rest is history in the making.
Today, Valerie enjoys the fruit of the hard work she has put into creating a successful business, and now embraces the opportunity to teach others how to have that same level of success.
